I was born in Mendoza in 1952. I attended elementary and high school at “Colegio Champagnat” in the City of Buenos Aires and graduated as a lawyer from the School of Law and Social Sciences of the University of Buenos Aires in 1973. I have been happily married to Gabriela Brandam for 26 years and we are the proud parents of five children.
 
 
I am:
  • Professor through public contest proceeding in the Chair of Commercial Law at the School of Law and Social Sciences of the University of Buenos Aires.
  • Professor of Seminar 1 in the course of Specialization in Business Law of the Universidad Notarial Argentina (post-graduate course).
  • Professor through contest proceeding in the Chair of Commercial Law at the School of Economics of the Universidad de Belgrano.
  • Professor in the Chair of Commercial Law at the Universidad Notarial Argentina.
  • General Secretary of the course of Specialization in Receivership in Insolvency Proceedings at the Universidad Notarial Argentina (post-graduate course), where I am in charge of the course of Insolvency Strategies and a member of the Consulting Committee of the Chamber of Commerce of Buenos Aires.
 
 
I am also:
  • Director of the course of Specialization in Business Law of the Universidad Notarial Argentina.
  • Visitor Professor of the Universidad Austral of the City of Rosario, Province of Santa Fe and Guest Professor of the MBA 2001 and the post-graduate course of Commercial Contracts of the Universidad Católica Argentina.
  • Professor of the Master in Business Management of the Universidad Siglo XXI of the City of Córdoba, Province of Córdoba.
  • Director of the Institute of Business Law of the Fundación para la Investigación y el Desarrollo de las Ciencias Jurídicas [Foundation for Research and Development of Legal Sciences].
 
 
At present I am a member of the Argentine Institute of Commercial Law, of the Institute of Commercial Law of the Universidad Notarial Argentina, of the Institute of Commercial Law of the Argentine Federation of Lawyers Associations, and of the Institute of Commercial Law of the Lawyers Association of Buenos Aires.
 
Further, I have held positions in Public Administration.
Before establishing the firm I was Undersecretary of Government of the Municipality of the City of Buenos Aires; National Director of Primary Industrialization and Commercialization; General Secretary of the Federal Board of the Federal Board of Agriculture (Act 20310); Coordinator of the Drafting Committee of the Bill of Agricultural Companies and co-author of the Business Reorganization and Bankruptcy Act 24522.
 
Other activities in my labor experience and in the private field were Editorial Secretary of the Journal “Temas de Derecho Comercial”; General Director of the Journal “Dictamen”. From 1975 to 1989 I provided Professional Advice to Companies and from 1989 to 1991 I was an Associate to Klein & Mairal Law Firm.
 
 
At present I cooperate in the research and development of Commercial Law. I have also worked as Secretary of the Department of Economic and Business Law of the School of Law of the University of Buenos Aires.
 
I regularly give lectures in academic and training centers for businessmen and professionals.
